My eyes adjusted over the years until the darkness became my world and I could see. The 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards (2007) featured the main theme performed by Rolfe Kent. Absolutely brilliant.
It’s a dark work, given that he’s a blood splatter specialist, but it’s set in the bizarre world of Miami
The visual contrast between the darkness of Dexter’s secret life and the brightness of Miami adds a surreal quality to the film. The character development is right on the money, and the background is slowly brought in, allowing one to see the growth of Dexter’s socialite personality and the confusion of his human behavior relative to his own. Dexter is an actor in his own life; the relationships between his colleagues and his personal life are well shown in the video media.
